A few of you have wondered how I can be so accurate in my observations of people, it’s mainly due to my acting training, which of course helps in writing as well. Writers tend to get inside their characters and also need to have keen observational skills. Having to perform, in front of people also helps you ground yourself into your character and can solidify the different persona. When you start to have a handle on it you can become, permanently or part time, the person whom you wish to become.

Now it’s not easy, but nothing worth while is easy, it took me years to hone my skills, and for me as a writer, and who’s also directed actors and acted myself; it’s a lifelong endeavor of constantly trying to improve techniques and abilities.

So in reality you can fake it until you make it, if you want to put in the time and effort.
